How do I read the calories burned on my HRM??? Yesterday it said 226 in big numbers and then 68 in little numbers so is that 226.68? Doesn't seem like a lot when I wore it all day?!

first off...what HRM do you have??? is it a watch one or watch and strap?


secondly...HRM's aren't supposed to be worn all day...although when i do my long walks i use it for about 6hours and it's fine(they're less accurate as the sensors dry up against your skin

it sounds like the 226 is your calories and the 68 is your heart rate....are you able to get me a lil pic, preferably when it's on and you're wearing it? lol

It's a watch and strap one. I did moisten it a few times throughout the day. It's definitely not the heart rate. I will try to take a pic now if I can

what make it is? will have a nose at it online x

This is the calories left on there from yesterday. The dotted lines at the bottom are where the heart rate shows. The tiny letters above the number say kcal.

if you've worn it all day the only thing i can think of is that it's 2266.8...which would be super high unless you were literally exercising ALL day(i walk non stop for 6hours and only burn 1300ish)

It's a Lloyds Pharmacy one. It's a bugger to figure isn't it!! lol

Also I was wearing for approx 11 hrs (have to have the stopclock running for it to count calories). That's why I wore it all day just to figure out if it only counted calories if my heart rate was between the lower and higher limits or all the time etc.....still no idea though lol!!

from what i can gather online...the one you have doesn't show calories burned...i could be wrong but it seems that way...so i have absolutely no idea what that is...you could log it as 2266.8cals...but be careful if you do log as that and decide to eat all those cals back! lol

It definitely does, it even tells you how to check what you've burned (just not how to read the bastard numbers lol!!!) in the leaflet that comes with it.

because the kcals is on top of the 68 i'm not so sure that's anything to do wit the cals...but 226 is major low for wearing it all day.

can't find any reviews or info about the bloody thing online sorry mate, i'm a bit useless
