| Well as some know there's no love lost between my oh and my dad for many reasons both just and unjust on both sides! I've often said to oh that it would really make me happy for them to be able to be civil for me and the kids. They've not been in the same room for near on two years as I couldn't see it being a good thing. Anyway it's my Tommys birthday on Thursday and I spoke with oh about the situation, and said I'd really like for my dad and family to come for cake to celebrate with us. He's agreed!  Didn't moan or make me feel bad for asking he just said yes! I'm really pleased! Tbh I know you probably think it's nuts that this is so big for me but to me it shows that oh is finally growing up and putting me and the boys before their stupid quarrels with each other!
