I've been accepted as a Volunteer Community Parent with a local charity that supports vulnerable young families. It's a charity that is funded by the Welsh Assembly and National Lottery. I start my training on 3rd November. I can't wait !!! Our area has some of the worst needy and low income families in wales and I really want to make a difference to help them get the info and support they need.

Between my college diploma and this opportunity, I know which direction I want to go in now

awww Mari, I can't wait !! Ive been lucky in that Cerys has been brought up in a stable home where we've not struggled for money or family support and it breaks my heart to know that there are children and parents who so need help and support xx
