At the moment Chloe is so miserable and I don't know how to please her, the only time she is not whinging is when she is being fed or asleep other than that she just constantly whinges.

There are signs of teething and I have rubbed dentinox on her gums and given her half a dose of calpol but nothing works. Even getting her down for a nap has turned into a battle.

I don't what else to do or what else it could be other than teething....i'm desperate as this has been going on since last week and I hate to say it but the constant whinging is getting on my nerves...even the cat leaves the room after a while.

Any suggestions...i'm desperate

argh i remember days/weeks like these, there rarely seems to be an answer. the best thing is probably distraction if its whinging rather than crying - going out in the pram/car, getting a new toy that will be exciting to her now she is a little older, doing a class or a fitness dvd with/next to her...

i really feel for you it can be soooooooooo wearing when little ones are just not content. i used to get really frustrated and end up sitting elijah in the bathroom in his bouncer and having a shower or taking him for really long walks just to entertain him enough to either fall asleep or cheer up for a bit!

If you think its teething, have you tried an amber bracelet?

I got Lily one and its amazing! She cut her first tooth (yesterday) and we have had no problems. She is also a great sleeper since having it on too.

I think Tyler was a whinger at that age but I think there's a lot of development things happening. I'm sure it's a big growth spurt that can last a week or two and that messes everything up!

I seem to re call it stopping as suddenly as it started. If the calpol doesn't make a difference then I would say it probably isn't teething and if she seems ok in herself otherwise then it's probably just a phase that will soon pass x

I bought her an amber teething necklace, it certainly does help with the dribbling....i've just got to remember to put it on everyday x

Try an anklet for a while then Nay. I put c in a necklace at about 7m i think and she never takes it off even at night. Awens got an anklet but such skinny ankles i cant keep it on her lol
