the anthaetist (sp) took 7 attempts to put the spidural in, and finally used an ultrasound to get the right space.

anyway when i cam home from hospital my back was black with bruising and i had 7 spots where he had put needle in...

but now 2 weeks on i'm still having some back pain, its causing a huge problem in that i cant walk far and stand up for long at all withohut being in pain.

just wondered if anyone had this, i will see how i go and mention it at 6 week check unless it gets worse, but i'm hoping its just bruising inside to be honest

Aaah - I've only just seen this, came in to ask a similar question! How are you feeling now? My pain isn't too bad, it's kind of niggly but still here 8 weeks on. I had the same problems with them getting it in, was rather flipping painful I hope yours is feeling better now!

Hi Hun, I'm afraid to say no,

I now can't stand for longer than 5 mins with out it hurting and I can't carry Lucas for more than a couple of mins. It's easier if I moving, like walking is fine but standing waiting is agony.

But I don't pain any other time, thinking of going to docs to get checked out as I have a prolapsed disc from when I had rich, but never had any treatment for it.
