does anyone know anything about life insurance?

ive decided to get some but every quote i try to get it asks how much i want to be insured for? ive no idea about this or for how long to take the policy on for

normally they say life insurance should cover any big debts. It's normally for covering mortgages and things like that on death. When I had my first flat I had life insurance for the mortgage amount.

Obviously you can have any amount you want but the higher amount the higher the monthly fee.

I would say if you have a mortgage deffo cover that, cover estimated funeral costs with a decent sum left over for kiddies

I agree with Jade. When we first got it we just covered the mortgage cost but with kids I'd add a bit more
