| Well as I said before we are skint as can be, which means only one thing.....I have to get a job Only problem is, OH works 6am-2pm one week and 2pm-10pm the next. I don't drive and there are no nurseries anywhere close to me. Soooo I will have to work when OH is at home. Now, what sort of job works between 11pm and 5am????? Any ideas? |

| I said that already Emma but they are not taking on at the moment. Would have been ideal but not at the same time. I would have had to be there half hour before OH finished or the otherway round which means noone to look after Ollie at shift swap over time. |

| Lots of factories do night shifts, although they tend to be 10-6 usually - but worth a shot |

| What about taking a housekeeping job for a hotel? I think they have pretty lax schedule and try to accommodate working moms. |

| First things that sprang to mind were garages, supermarkets and hotels. Or 24 hour call centres? Good luck hun, best thing is to get out there and ask. Keep your CV with you at all times as you never know when you may strike lucky x |

| just look every where. Get your cv on cv library. Get all the local papers.
Have you considered a child minder instead of a nursery |

| Hmm thats a toughie, most nightshifts even in supermarkets are 10-6am.
Is there anyway you could work from home? I would say Avon but the amount of hrs you put in for the money you get wouldnt be worth it for a proper income (its all right for 'treat' money but not for bills etc)
Could anyone help with childcare if you decided to go to college? I dont know the details but could you study to be a childminder, even part time? You could work at home then? It would probably take you a year though.....
Sorry iv been a tad negative. Why dont you phone your local jobcentre and ask to make an appointment with a personal advisor? I saw one (im on income support so dont know if they were very helpful due to that) and they set up 3mth (unpaid) work experience in my dream job and are paying for my childcare. They may be able to advise you & come up with new ideas. The govt at the min are very keen to get people working so it may surprise you whats available if you ask. Hope you get sorted soon. xxx |
