I was induced and Libby was back to back but I was just stubborn and tried do it without anything - got to 5cms and asked for gas & air, I hated the feeling of being out of it though. I had an episiotomy and remember feeling the 'snipping' from the scizzors

The thought of an epidural scared/scares me silly so I was adament that unless I had to have one I would definately not choose to have one.

Dexter's birth was great, because of the 'out of it' feeling I had when I had Libby, I went without anything and I really enjoyed it, was walking around the room and chatting/laughing with mws until time to push - then I had gas and air. x

Susan did you not get an episiotomy with dexter then? Iv kinda resigned my fact to the idea I will need one this time just because I did with Caitlin.

If you didnt get one did you tear with him?

snoopy thats the one thing terrifying me... that was the worse part about labour... the stitches *ugh* bloody awful. aagghhhh
