I've read that its safe to fly in the first trimester but i could feel pretty bad on a long hall flight.

Has anyone been on a plane whilst pregnant? If so any tips? I'll be flying for 9 hours.

Back in October I did a 12 hour flight when i was about 5/6 weeks pregnant. I had no idea that i was pregnant, and luckily it was before morning sickness had kicked in. I travelled back alone with Milo who didn't sleep or sit still for the whole 12 hours and I didn't cope too badly! Was still vaguely human! Felt like I had awful jetlag after, but that might have just been the morning sickness starting. Rolling Eyes I think it helped that I kept moving a lot, and drinking lots of water and eating non stop.

Then flew back to england at 28 weeks, and much the same, tried to keep moving, sleep when i could, walk around the plane, drink lots of water.. Unfortunately there's not much you can do on a plane, but i watched an episode of something on the tv, then went for a walk around the plane with Milo, got him to play with some other toddlers on the flight, did some stretches, then back for another sit down.. over and over again! Laughing So - stay active, stay hydrated, do your stretches, take naps if you can, and remember 9 hours will feel like forever, but they will eventually let you off the plane! Laughing
