| Well previous to this week it was at least £150 in Sainsburys every week, plus milk and extra visits on top, so around £175 a week, £750 a month
I'm hoping to bring it down to about £80 a week though, spent £60 already on main shop, £6 on milk, £5 yesterday...so I have about £10 for anything we run out of between now and Tuesday! |

| We do a big shop every 4wks and spend about £60, then get milk &bread every week and maybe a few other bits so £10 a week ish. i'd probs say we spend £100 average a month, maybe £150 when we've bought a bit more. |

| I spend about 120 one week a month - thats a big shop including cleaning products, babywipes etc.
then between 60-70 the other weeks.
I then do a fruit and milk top up in the middle of the week which is normally 10-20

xx Well a big difference to most I think is Dan works from home, so of course he has all his meals/drinks here..plus all the snacks he eats while working! We have expensive tea/coffee and we drink quite a bit..that won't change by going to Aldi I'm a bit obsessive with air fresheners, new sponges, cleaning stuff, and get through a fair amount of washing liquid as we only wear clothes once usually Other than that though...I dunno how come we spend so much...we must just eat loads (I know Dan does, how he aint fat I dont know!) |

| I wouldn't say meal planner as such but we tend to have the same type of meals each week/month so i know what to buy each month for those meals. I'm a creature of habit, i rarely buy different things. |

| Um.. we tend to do a big shop every 2 weeks and tend to spend about £80 on each of those. Then about £40 every other week topping up on fruit, veg, milk meat etc. I would say about £250m a month Since weve both being dieting i find food shopping sooo expenisve. Were both eating loads of fruit and veg and meat and i find i have to buy more fruit every 2/3 days. Ive started buying them at the greengrocers and theyre so much cheaper than in the supermarket. |

| We buy a lot of tinned fruit, and get frozen veg. Cheaper and means you don't keep going back to the shops. I know a lot of people prefer fresh though |

we take £200 cash out when hubby gets his bursary, then split it into 4 piles - we do a meal planner each week (usually one for us and a slightly different one for elijah) and buy what we need - some weeks we go over the £50 for example if we are buying pasta we buy loads at once cos it's cheaper that way but other weeks its cheaper. i am finding fresh stuff is SO expensive at the moment too, quite often we get frozen veg which lasts longer so we don't waste any though. our most expensive thing is probably dairy - we all eat loads of yogurts/cheese/drink loads of milk (should really fill that form in for the vouchers) |
