The dogs were out the front and I heard them barking so looked out the window and saw an old man trying to open the gate and fussing the dogs - it's quite hard to open (its to keep that LisaG out hahahah ;-) )

Anyway eventually he opens it and comes to the front door with the dogs barking at him as he walks up, so I open it and my dogs run in the house, and he starts mumbling that he doesn't know whats going on but these 2 dogs are following him...

So I asked what my dogs? where have they followed you from? He says 'oh all the way down the road' and then says he didn't know where they lived.

I said I've no idea how they got out (they weren't out and they wouldn't have followed a stranger if they were anyway!) and he said 'well so long as they are happy here' and I say 'yeh OK bye'.

Then he starts wittering on about a woman he is helping.

I feel bad now cos I think he has escaped from an old persons home but I couldn't exactly follow him as got Izzy here. Thing was he was only wearing a t shirt and its raining

Oh how weird, is there a home nearby that you know of?? Could you ring them see if they have an escapee lol xx

Yeh theres a couple on the end of the road, one my grandad went to and the one next to it

I wonder if he is from the one my grandad was at - and thought he still lived here?

maybe a man suffering from dementia that is sill being cared for in his own home went for a walk ? my gran used to do this all the time, thinking she was off to school

What kind of dogs do you have? Maybe a thief? And his age worked in his favour for looking vague?

LOL he was REALLY old!!! and very slow...if he was a dog thief then he must be the worst ever!

My dogs are Yorkie - he is pedigree and a jack russell but no balls so no value really
