OMG are you serious? Will they have our card details then? I did worry at the time as usually my bank asks an online security question in a pop up window before confirming order and it didnt.

Oh crap it was my switch card. If I cancel that I have no way of getting money out....

Iv tried googling and all the topics brought up by google when you click on them are invalid links so I cant even read what other people have said.

I could live with being robbed of £1.95 but if they have taken more than that Im fooked

I think you may need to cancel your cards ladies. It firstly says that your details are safe, then further in the thread says they are not.

I also found somebody posted this on the thread (from a previous scam that the same bloke has done):

My card details were cloned from the dizzy-deals 'offer'.
The cheeky b*ggers tried to buy a £700 item from John Lewis online.
If you fell for this be VERY vigilant of your credit card statement and if you can cope without it for a few days I would cancel and wait for the new card to come in the post.

Yeah i read the same link as Laura, some people are saying they won't have your details and some say they could. Eeek!

I cancelled my card!

Nothing has been taken from my account, not even the £1.95, but in my eyes its better to be safe than sorry. Pain having no card for a week or 2 but at least I wont be worrying everyday that someone's gonna use it for online shopping in china!

Have learnt my lesson and will be sticking to paypal and big well known sites from now on x

Gaaaaahhhhhh I've just phoned up my bank about it and got a lecture about how credit cards are safer than bank cards for online shopping. They had heard of the scam and cancelled my card. Up to 2 weeks for a new one tho!
