I think normally people pay for themselves. Or if your maid of honour/bridesmaids are organising it sometimes it's organised so everyone pays a bit extra to cover your costs. We didn't do this on mine, everyone just made for themselves but we didn't do much just a night in Brighton. Matt's best man organised a weekend away with paintballing, casino, vip club entrance, and hotel and all the guys going paid a little bit more so Matt didn't have to pay anything but drinks.
So really I think it's up to who organises it and how nice they are! Smile

do you have a maid of honour? I would have thought she would organise and get money from people to pay for things - I don't think YOU should be paying...

Aww bless you for having your little sister as maid of honour.
I'd just chat to the people you want to come to hen night and see what they want to do and how much they want to spend. If it's a party bus or a special hen night deal where you pay before just get everyone to pay for themselves. On the night you probs wont end up buying any drinks, people buy for you

I organised mine (weekend to Portugal) because I managed to get us a brilliant cheap deal.

But, normally, everybody pays for themselves and covers a bit more for the bride.
