Ok so Charlie has a very odd thing going on! On a few of his fingers and toes he appears to be shedding skin just like a snake! It kinda looks like popped blisters. I honestly have no idea why it's happening, he hasn't touched anything he shouldn't have, it's so weird! He's not in pain or bothered by it, he tries to pick it off sometimes but that's it. Any ideas why my son is shedding his skin?

Has he had a virus recently?

A few weeks after having hand foot and mouth disease the skin on some of caitlins fingers and toes started peeling. Also 2 of her fingernails and her big toe nail seemed to grow a 2nd layer of nail and then fall off (very strange).

I never took her to Dr but as just assumed it was to do with the virus. My friends boys also had it and their fingers pealed a week later (didnt get the freaky nail thing but). Her MIL said it could be scarlett fever - but I very much doubt that was it as they had no other symptoms!

A vitamin deficiency was something else I thought of. Im content for Caitlin that it was linked to H, F & M disease. x

umm i don't really know but elijah had this on his hands when he was a few months old - it just cleared up and he was fine it was weird though!

Yes he's has a really bad rash, a couple of weeks ago, I've had to keep him moisturised and have a steroid cream for it. I never realised this would happen after! How odd lol
