hello ladies. i have been away from banda for ages because i felt i had nothing to offer anyone. i was getting paranoid none was interested in me or posts( im a twat i know ) or maybe no one is lol..

as some are aware i have being goign through a seperation after 13 years of marrage and i have found it very difficult for both me and my children i feel lost and lonely and panicked and scared and havnt a clue about my future and it petrifies me. i had to stop working and am now on benifits which made me very depressed.( i know lots of people on benifits i have no issues with that its just something i thought i would never need).
i have been goign out on a few weekends with mates getting blindin drunk thinking it was i need to get through . but that just made me worse and i feel more lonelier than ever right now. im so very lost and need some company ..and its you gus i think off when i am down so thought i would say hi again.. and try and get my self out of this hole . no worries if you dont wanna chat to me.i will sulk somewhere else . hope everyone is doing ok x

First of all, booze is the worst thing you can take when you are feeling how you do, its great at the time, but you spend the next few days on a huge 'come down' and it really screws with your head.

The worst thing about any break up is feeling lonely. Keep yourself busy, even if its just on here talking rubbish with us lot to pass a night away.

Keep your chin up - things do always get better, even though you are finding it tough now xxx

It is so hard after a break up, especially when children are involved. It will take a little time but the hurt will heal and you'll feel a bit more positive. What you're feeling now is perfectly normal. A few ladies on here are going through exactly the same, you're not alone.

I love seeing you post on here, and am made up your back!

I too spent a little time away, because I really needed to get a grip of my anxiety which has been taking over my life. I will share some of the techniques I have been learning with my CBT counsellor if you think they may help???

Oh well, I will write them anyway and see if they may help you, or others reading this.

- Distraction is a major point, and organisation.

So find something you are interested in, whether is something alone or with your kids it doesnt matter? I have been making things for Islas room, its needed addressing for a while and I couldnt afford to buy everything, so ive been making things instead.....they're not perfect, but they're from ME!

Secondly, organise your home the very best you can....starting one room at a time. Its amazing how much better you feel when you declutter.

Next, make one hour a day completely for you - whther its time out, or a cheap face mask.

If youre missing someone through death then make a box for them or a scrap book of photos, memories, stories, clippings to look at when you need them. Its a good balance then between sadness (which is fine btw), and positivity from the memories, and it keeps them close. Your children could also do this for their Daddy if they miss him.

Erm, cant think of any more for the moment.....

BUT, your a beautiful girl, with a HUGE heart......Once you feel good about you, then a new lifes out there waiting

lisa . my house is clutterfree i have ocd with cleanlyness and clutter lol.. and i do find being with my freind brings me out ofmyself a little bit ..but assoon as i go home im back at being deep in thought and scared..i think alot of my issues are from when i had amelei my health my body my grandads death my marriage breakup..i just didnt deal with it and cant get over it ..i guess time will heal me x

Welcome back lovely. Sorry to hear you are feeling low. Have you visited your GP to talk through what you have been through and how you feel? Obviously we are all here for you, but maybe you need some medical attention as well. What you have been through is not easy and you may need some help to come to terms with things and get back to a more positive you.
