Loads of contractions this morning, soon as they got 6 mins apart called my lovely sister for a lift, called the hospital and went in to see if I was ever going to have this baby!

Thing2 is very engaged and very low and in a great position, so he's doing great, but my cervix is still very high (she couldn't find it for ages, and it was blimming painful ) and about 1cm dilated so thinks nothing is going to happen yet. She thought i'd be better off at home where I could relax a bit more, advised I bought an exercise ball to bounce on, so bought one on the way home, then promptly fell asleep on the sofa as i was so shattered after another night of next to no sleep. Still having contractions but not so frequent but midwife was hopeful that if I kept bouncing I could be back in hospital as early as this evening, I think it won't be that quick and easy though

Right, that's my essay of frustration for today, i should go and do less typing more bouncing! Wish me contractions!! xx
