got back from the hospital a few hours ago after being up there since sunday!!
my lil man Scott was playing football with his friends (just out the front of the house) when he slipped over, and someone trod on his arm and broke it
was trying so hard not to cry at the same time as telling him he'll be ok, he was convinced his arm was falling off!
got to A&E they took xray and his arm was completely snapped both bones completey broken n not attached to each other at all
made me feel slightly queasy no wonder he felt like his arm was gonna fall off!
well they took him down to surgery the next morning to straighten it, they said will b about 15 mins if they can pull it straight but about an hour if they have to pin the bones, well 2 hours later he was still in theatre!! needless to say i was starting to panic!
well after 2 1/2 hours in surgery they brought him out and they said they needed to more than they expected coz was worse than they could see on xray, so needed to use plates and pins, aww he looked so poorly, managed to hole my tears in front of him though! although i did cry when he went into theatre
but anyways he is back now and on the mend yay! a lil sore but is stocked up on painkillers!

Aw honey what an ordeal. Its horrible when your kids are sick and in pain and you cant fix it. The good thing is hes still so little he wont get any long term effects from it and by next week will be very proud of his nice plaster all his friends can sign for him xxx

awwww your poor little man & poor you!!! It is so awful to see our LO's in pain I am glad you are both home & ok now, he will be popular at school, what with everyone wanting to sign his cast!!

he did make me laugh thou, he said "id rather have a sickness bug than a broken arm!" lol
and
"if i had 3 wishes id wish for my arm not to be broken and id save 2 incase i hurt myself again!"

I bet you were worried sick. Im glad he is feeling a little better and that they managed to fix his arm.
