Ava has worked out how to get out of her grobag and won't keep it on when I put her to bed, do you think its time to move to a duvet instead?

Izzy didnt have a bed and duvet til she was 21 months, but she was a late walker and I didnt want her to go in the bed til she could climb in and pull the covers over her - so Ava should be fine now she is mobile!

Hannah decided at 5 months she hated her sleeping bag so she had the quilt that went with her cot bumper set from then on. She has had a proper duvet and pillow since 8 months when she got a cold and would only sleep proped up slightly on a pillow.

Flick has always had a small blanket, she wasn't a fan of being swaddles and didn't like sleeping bags coz she couldn't sprawl in bed Laughing
Up until now she has had a small picnic type of blanket but now she has a proper duvet and loves it Very Happy

You can get toddler bedding sets that include a toddler/junior duvet & pillow. Argos do them, or ebay.

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1194238/Trail/searchtext%3EJUNIOR+BEDDING.htm

Caitlin has the disney princess one, and iv ordered extra peppa pig covers from asda this week. The only thing I will say is its quite lightweight. In winter you would prob need a fleece blanket or 2 over the top.

Id recommend the toddler/junior bed size if you keeping the cotsides up. Maybe someone else will be able to recommend a better quality set. x

Get a cotbed sized duvet hun, singles are massive and bulky in a cotbed. This one is reasonable http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zorbit-4-5-Duvet-120x150cm-White/dp/B000HZ5SAA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1310998082&sr=8-1 but they do them in different togs depending on what you want.

^ are they still massive if in cot-bed mode? (as opposed to still in cot mode...)
Been looking at single bedding sets to go over a single duvet - figured we could tuck half of it under the mattress at the bottom?... am I setting myself up for a fall?! Laughing

We've been using the cot bed duvet, which came with matching pillow case, since about 1yr old I think Pinky - which was used with a dreampod too until this spring (having also figured how to get out of) This kind of thing, without a removable cover - http://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-quilt-pillowcase-set-barnaby-button/7064634/type-i/

Chuff me that's expensive - ahh, first baby spending sprees Laughing xx
