Hi
Just wondering when u can stop sterlising bottles etc. I always presumed it wud be at about a year, but i read a book recently n it said summat about 6 months?

I stopped at a year but i know loads who stopped at 6 months

its recommended no sooner than 6 months but it wouldn't do any harm to keep going - I think it's 6 months because the more they are mobile the more they stick in their mouths

I stopped with Lottie at 12 months but I stopped with Abbie at 6 months and she has been fine

I stopped with Robert at 6 months as he was moving around on the floor and putting what ever he could into his mouth, he has been fine

I was told to sterlize the whole time you were giving milk in the bottles as it's more to do with killing bacteria from the milk x
