| i was in town, i was walking back to the car park and you have to wall through a small shopping centre bit, well anyway i noticed a little girl about 18months only walking around with no shoes on and she looked like she was following this older lady, i got by home bargins and the little girl heads straight for the exit door where a lasy was coming out, the automatic door opened out and sent the little girl flying, then a noticed that no one was going to her, i had lilly in the pushchair so went over to her and picked the little girl up as she was flat on her back crying where she had fallen, im looking around and no one is claiming her, i was horrified, i mean who would let their little girl wonder off on her own, well by this point i can hear a woman shouting alexis really loud but quite far away, it got closer until i saw the lady shouting so i went straight over, the woman burst into tear grabbed alexis and cuddled her, she said thanks so much ect. basically the woman had been in argos and turned around and the girl had walked off and round half of the town on her own!!! poor little girl |

| poor mummy aswell as little girl, a couple of years ago i prob would have thought how irresponsible but now i know its more then possible, sometimes you just turn round for half a second to do something n they are gone! luckily usually its about 2cm to the right but its still enough to give me a heart attack lol. my mum did this with my little bro when he was around 3, my bro walked off while mum was just looking at something for a second and it took half an hour and a lot of panicking and searching and shouting before an old man brought him back to my mum, scary thing is these days that old man prob would have just left him to wander incase he got accused of kidnapping or something and the outcome could have been a lot worse! x |

| Omg scary, how horrible for the girl and the Mum. I was in Debenhams with my Mum and Imogen, I thought my Mum was looking out for her so I turned to look at some tops then realised Mum was looking at the tops with me. Luckily altho Immi had ran round the other side of the shop she hadn't actually left, and I could hear her giggling so followed that. But for that second I thought she was gone, I felt sick it was horrible. |

| how awful ! , i will be trying my best to keep an eye on D at all times , easier said than done i know on my middle childs second birthday he was in the garden playing whilst i was in kitchen (facing the garden) cooking party food , i took sauage rolls out the oven and bam he was gone ! an hour later i finally found him at a park across the main road leading out of town , i only found him there as my pal phoned and i cut her short as i was out searching and she simply said OH i wonder if thats the child i nearly hit crossing the road near new park ! ,,,,, sure enough i ran so fast there and found him. There were adults there with their own and not one batted an eyelid at why this toddler was wandering about on their own , more so the road is just next to park so it couldnt be missed that he had crossed the road alone |

| Ugh that story knocked me sick. Poor little girl, mummy and you! Crikey it really does make you feel ill doesn't it?!?!
A couple of weeks ago Amelia was playing in the conservatory so I started to make her a sandwich, the door to the garden was open. By the time I had buttered the bread she had gone into the garden, which is fine as it's entirely fenced and the gate is so stiff and heavy I struggle to open it. But Amelia is obviously stronger than she looks and I heard a bang at the front door, went to get Amelia from the garden to open the front door to find the gate open and Amelia gone. How I didn't drop down from a heart attack I don't know. Turns out the bang at the front door was Amelia riding her car into it and she was there banging into it. She burst into tears when she saw me as I was screaming her name without realising. Poor sausage, I must have scared her as much as she scared me! |

Thats a very good point hun, so many people are scared to help now for fear of being accused of kidnapping or being a paedo.... I was at soft play with Harry and a little girl, whose mum was completely ignoring her, told me it was her birthday and she had a badge on and said her name was Iris. Her badge fell of as she was jumping on a trampoline and the pin was sticking out so it could've hurt her and Harry if either of them fell on it... So I said "Iris, can you pick up your badge or you might lose it" and then he mum was straight over giving me a look that could kill and said "how do you know her name?!" So I told her how, and said that her badge had fallen off and it could hurt her, so she looked all embaressed and said sorry and took the little girl of to play... Even though I felt accused of something I don't think I wouldn't help again., and anyway it got her off her arse and playing with her daughter on her bithday! lol xx |

| Aww that's horrid, we were at Woburn safari park about 6 weeks ago, and had stopped at the picnic bit for lunch, as we were walking back to the car there was a little boy running through the car park screaming his head off, I guess he was about 3, I stood and watched for a minute and after he nearly got ran over and was heading straight for the animal bit i picked him up, he couldn't understand English so I didn't get very far, so went and found.a staff member, all the time with him screaming, we walked back over to the shop and the mum came and grabbed him off me, then just walked off, no thank you or anything and tbh she didn't even look bothered, he must have been missing at least 15 minutes because of the distance he'd gone. I'd have been beside myself if that were me, it only takes a second for them to disappear. |
