ARGH anyone else get this or is it me being paranoid...

But went into boots yesterday need to get some purfume ran out (dam it normaly lasts till xmas!) anyway was there for ages looking testing thought Id have a change.
There were 2 ladies on the desk, when I was there they were asking everyone who was lookin if needed help etc. but when I started looking they both walked away and stood there watching me having a good chat about some guy called marc who worked there and his wife & how they didnt like her, she was stuck up (haha I wasnt ears dropping honest!!) anyway I was there for ages looking, and 3 or 4 couples came whilst I was there adn they went over to help them!! but they did not once ask me!!
Anyways made my decision what I wanted went to the till and again they didnt move!! I had to ask to be served, when I said what I wanted she said 'oh that ones £50' yeah I know!

urgh really pissed me off just because I look young with 2 kids they think im either going to A steal it or B just being a pikey and using all the testers!
really p'd me off I nearly went to complain I was raving!! But felt better as all the other people they stopped to help not one bought but I did HA in your face!! ohh I was mad, still am lol well I must look like a pikey!!

i know what you mean hunni- it makes me soooo angry, i get asked if i'm managing by random people when shopping alone in asda...say what???? they wouldn't dare ask an older mother, so why ask me?? because i look young?? GRRRRR
tell them to stick it next time hun, i'd have gone to a diff boots...just to spite them!!! biatches x

I would be well peed off to hun, i would of got the manager out to complain how rude and stereotypical his staff were. I am terrible for things like this especially if i am spending money.

I know what you mean, I always get dirty looks and I think they think im going to hide things in the buggy or something! Esp doesnt help that my buggy sets off alarms in most shops!

pikey is a gypsy lou! its really rude sometimes how people look at you n treat you cos your a parent n not in your 40's. x

I know how you feel though, like when you walking into expensive shops, boutiques etc especially with a pram and you get 'that' look like 'this shop is aimed at the high flyers, not the stay at home frumpy mother type'

Urgh terri!! mine sets all the alarms off too!! I hate going shoppping with the pushchair, every shop I go into I dread, I close my eyes as I go through. haha

yeah zee I know! I like boutique shops, theres a village near me thats full of them really pricey though but I like going there I pick some really nice things up for birthdays, and I get 'the look' then! urgh mind I set the alarms off there too! ha theres one I only have to walk past the door and it sets it off, I ross the road to avoid it now, they must see me coming!

Iv been searched a few times going IN and out of wilkinsons, I always set theres off!!! Next is another doesnt matter which one I always set off! so embarrasing!

I would have complained! Who the feck do they think they are? At the end of the day they're shop assistants who's job it is to assist their customers. Cheeky gits, I'd have had to have said something! Write a letter and complain (you might get a nice voucher).

Candles and other fragrances. Candles start from £13 each!!! I went in A tuesday morning before work so was in black trousers and a plain top all
Smiles can I help you etc. I didn't get what I wanted as I didn't get paid until the Thursday. I went back in the Thursday with Rowan in smart casual
Clothes and with Rowan and just got dirty looks as if what are you doing In here. I bought 4 candles and they came to over £60. The look on her face when I paid by card it was like she was half expecting me to pull out some crumpled notes.

oh me and russ have this, especially if he is clean shaven, he looks 18 then the looks we get with lucas are funny, but when rich calls us mom and dad those looks are hilarious lol.

as for taking pram around shops i have been known to move displays and pull clothes off rails, especially in baby areas,

I had this in blummin mothercare! I wanted to try on some mat clothes in the sale and the sales assistant was so obviously checking exactly what I was taking in and then hovered round outside to check exactly what I took out, just because I had a pushchair with me! What did she expect in mothercare!! You should complain hun! xx

I have the same problem in shops clare, so much so my dad has just bought me L plates for the pram lol
