my mum's cousin (13 yr old) came up to stay with us for a few weeks (her grandad- my mums uncle has just died, so my mum offered for the girl to come up...) anyhoo everything was fine until i came down to see them all...at my mums. my sis was v upset as my mums cousin and my cousin has nicked off and left her in the house to go to the shop (knowing fine well that she cant walk v far (with slipped ephiphisis (sp)) so they still leave her alone (she has epiliepsy too)
the girls then come back after about an hour, they stroll back over "do you wanna come to my mum's for tea???" my sis didnt wanna go as she was still upset and had made herself sick...
next thing we know theyre knocking on the door my mums cousin says "becca why are you so mardi?? why didnt you come to the shop with us?? you managed to walk around team valley yday!!" (all this back chatting towards my mum) a 13 yr old stood with arms on her hips speaking shitty towards my mum!! NOONE talks to my mum like that!!
we've been nice enough to take her away for 2 weeks...
i put a comment on FB saying about disrespectful lil biatches and my aunty (my cousins mum obviously lol) is now narky with me "hope that wasn't about my side.......!!!!" GRRR FFS!!
i'm so mad...
i wished i hadn't put that FB comment but i was angry with my mums cousin and my cousin (my cousin also called my sis a moody lil cow!!)
for goodness sake...my aunty is now all bitchy and nasdty towards me...GRRRR

ahh great now my uncle is calling me sad...thats lovely a nearly 50 year old man, who by the way doesn't even bother with us!! is calling me sad

anybody advice??? now my mums side of the family...are saying im ridiculous and stupid and sad...and apparently my uncle was mumbling under his breat when my mum was on the phone to my aunty...for goodness sake this has been blown out of proportion, yes i probs shouldn't have put it on fb...but i didnt exactly broadcast that the lil biatches were them :/ they just dont like the fact that i didnt stand for nonesense...no matter what age they are!!!! so upset because this has now all fallen onto me, and all i was doing was sticking up for my mummy...

I would probably say if the shoe fits wear it.. I didn't say wHO was nasty and look at you all assuming it's you ha!



but that's me... I'm sure there's a more diplomatic way to handle the situation lol.

I would wnt to say soemthing like Jade suggested but it's probably best just to ignore it and let it all blow over. If they assumed you meant your mum's cousin then they obvious know she's a little moo, else they'd have no reason to assume.
