| As a result of my forced early start, it has made me wonder. What do you class as a lie in? And what do you think is an acceptable time to wake up? x |

| Anything before 7 is too early! We have a rule that if the kids wake before 6.30 they are settled back to bed if they wake after 6.30 they can get up but they watch beebies in our room until 7 when we all get up, never go downstairs before 7. 9am is a nice time to get up, if I get a lie in on a weekend then I usually get up between 9-10 anything after 10 and I feel like I've wasted the day :/

| I'm simiar to deb. Anything before 7 would be far too early. Thankfully ellie knows the rules and understands that mummy needs her sleep so it doesn't happen. Ellie generally wakes between 7.30 and 8.30 a lie in after 8. Week days I'm up anyway getting ready for work mon-wed or getting Paul up for school. Weekends it's great when she sleeps past 8. Then we get her in our bed for a bottle and a cuddle til about 9.30 xx |

| it depends if its a school day, if lucas wakes anything from 6 i stay awake and sort rich and russ out.
on weekends if he wakes at 6-7 he goes back to bed for another hour, but for me saturday is my lie in and i get an extra hour.
on holidays i see how i feel and go from there but anything above 7 i tend to try to put monkey down and have another hour.
but i use to lie in till 11 on a weekend that was very nice |

| Anything after 6am is a lie in for me, and to be honest if I sleep past 7am I wake up with a headache anyway! Its Rob's day off so he is having a lie in today, hes knackered, but he will probably get up at 9 cos he is used to getting up between 5 and 6am. xx |

| Anything after 7 is a LIE IN lol
me and OH alternate what days we get up with Tyler so get one weekend lie in and i'll get up between 9 and 10.
I try not to get out of bed with tyler before 6.30, if he's up before that I tend to leave him (if he's happy enough in his cot) otherwise if I go in he gets upset and I end up getting up straight away. |

| hmm interesting question haha elijah will wake up anytime between 6 and 8, usually about 7ish which is fine....if i have been working a lot i do sometimes get a lie in but generally cant sleep past maybe 9 much as i would like to!!!
i deem before 6am as being too early...if elijah is up then i will bf him in bed (do that every morning though) and generally speaking he will snooze off for a while - we always wake up with all 3 of us in bed though so it's quite a gentle awakening! |

| If Imogen wakes before 7am we tend to try and settle her back in bed or she'll sleep in our bed. After 7 we'll let her play in our room for a bit then get up. She tends to get up about 7.30 atm so we're downstairs about 8.
A lie in is probably anything after 8. We try to alternate on weekend days so we both get one lie in, probs sleep till 10ish then |

| A lie in would be anytime after 8 I guess, although Chloe generally wakes us at 6am, but Matt usually deals with her as he's far more of a morning person than me |

| Hmm sleep to begin with would be nice! When I go back to work we're going to have to be up at 6 at the latest as we'll have to drop Jamie off at nursery at 7ish. Before Jamie we used to stay up late and then quite often not get up to 11ish at the weekend. Actually Jamie also prefers sleeping in the morning so at the weekend he will come in bed with us when he wakes up and we'll all normally doze off for a bit |

| Caitlin generally wakes at 830/9. Anything before 8 here is too early and id call a lie in 10 Caitlin was up at 930am this morning. The down side to this is Caitlin is often still up at 9 or 930pm so I dont get my evenings free from 7pm like a lot of mummys do. I guess its what you prefer and what way you've worked your routine. When baby arrives and im up at 6/7 anyway I might jig her routine a bit to get her used to earlier nights & wakings. x |

Girls are allowed downstairs from 7.30 am onwards. They both normally wake up 7 to 7.15am.

| Amelia doesn't get up before 7.30 unless I have to wake her for something. Most of the time she gets up between 8 and 8:30. A lie in is anything after 8 and if I had my way it'd be til 10:30. |

| Generally Caelyn wakes 6-7 mostly 6-630. She isnt allowed downstairs til 7 though. So before 6 is too early and after 7 is a lie in. The days Neil lets me stay in bed while he gets up though my uber long lie in is 830-845, I simply cant stay in bed longer than that it feels horrible.
Awen on the other hand thinks 5am is a good time to get up and last few days 430. Ive been strongly peruading her to stay in bed with dummy but generally end up feeding her between 5-6 and trying to get her back to get which she finallydoes about 630...ust in time for C to get up. So my current 'horrible ass time to get up' is 430 and if she sleeps til 630 im in heaven |

| On a weekday I'm up between 6.45 and 7, go in bathroom then start breakfast while Dom gets up then he wakes Imogen up by 7.30 and brings her downstairs. If she wakes before me I'll try to convince her it's still nighttime (usually works unless she's poorly). On a weekend we tend to let her be the alarm clock but she's usually awake by 8 so anything after is a lie-in. If we've nothing doing we'll bring her in with us and put CBeebies on but if that goes on any later than 9.30 I start getting tetchy and feel like the day is being wasted.
Before Imogen, it wasn't a lie-in before 10am and I would never arrange to meet anyone before noon. Sometimes even that was a struggle, but in those days I had the energy to stay up drinking till dawn so I guess it's just a shift of body clocks x |
