dirty nappies question _
PostSubject: dirty nappies question   dirty nappies question EmptyTue Aug 02, 2011 1:43 am

hi all,

lucas is having a few very runny nappies, they like water, not solid at all, he has one dirty nappy a day and we've had this over the weekend, todays was more orange than yellow, which it normally is.

i'm thinking heat as its warm here, he seems fine in himself, when hes not getting frustrated at not being able to eat what we are and not being able to move where he would like too....

do you think i should take him to docs, hes drinking as normal, still sleeping 9 to 7, so i cant say theres anything else wrong with him, but his runny poos are too runny.

what do you ladies think?

Hmm I tend to be really laid back about these things and never go to the dr. I think as long as he's taking milk fine then it shouldn't be too much of a problem atm. However if it continues for another couple of days I'd take him to the dr. But yeah remember I'm too laid back, I've only ever been to the drs with Imogen twice in her life.

To behonest, Ellie still has a wide variety of nappies, most quite solid but some runny and occasionally watery runny (like you described). As long as Lucas seems his usual self then I'd try not to worry. But if you are the slightest bit worried then go to the docs. xx

We had a few runny ones from Alyssa last week, but they weren't like water. I would do what the others say and keep an eye on him and if its not any better by Wednesday then take him to the doctors xx
