Ok, I know I shouldn't grumble as my c-section scar has healed up really well, and i feel good considering it was only two weeks ago..but... but...

They've stitched me up all wonky!!

I had my first c-section in Japan, where for some strange reason they made they outside incision vertically. So I had a scar going down in a straight line from my bellybutton. Had my second c-section here, and they did the incision horizontally. So i thought, yay, my tummy is going to look like a hot cross bun, yummy! My stomach has finally gone down enough for me to get a good look at my scar, and my stomach is a right state! The horizontal line is really neat, but they've cut through the vertical scar, and stitched it up on the wonk so the top and bottom of the vertical scar don't match up!

That probably doesn't make any sense, but it looks really freaky OH thinks it's very cool though, but I can't trust myself not to get drunk and whip it out at parties to scare people!

So yeah, I'm wonky. It does explain why my bellybutton points in a different direction now too

I know what you mean (it kind happens when you make bags sometimes if you dont line the seams up right before you do the corners )

Ooh I see what you mean, it's faded really well though, I've only got the horizontal scar and can hardly see it. I didn't get the apron

Em, I was miffed..then proud..then slightly disgusted..

The weird thing is, the very top and the very bottom of the old scar match up (couldn't go down that low on the photo ) Then they've pulled it out of line where it meets up with the new scar Don't have any mysterious flaps of skin lurking around, so not quite sure how that's worked!

Oh dear lol! I have a wonky belly button from the scar from my lap appendicectomy, it even hurts sometimes when the weather is warm and my skin stretches!
