Hubby's gone to bed and I know I should too but it seems wrong with the empty cot next to me It's stupid because I know his fine. In fact I suspect his one of those babies who is going to settle better for other people (and everyone does what my mum says anyway) so I suspect he just went straight to sleep but just worried his going to be like the other night and scream all night and then wonder where his mummy is. How pathetic am I?

Aww it's not pathetic, it's understandable. I struggled the first few times i left Immi thinking she would cry and my Mum wouldn't know what to do, but she's always good as gold for everyone and now I just enjoy my sleep/lie in.

Well I had a nice sleep (although I did keep waking up expecting him to be crying). Dad's not bringing him back until about 11 so have brought the laptop and my kindle to bed for a nice lay in. Only problem I have is his been off his food and just having milk the last few days so I have very painful boobs

If he's not coming back till 11 why you up at 8.30!!! I always wake up early when Immi isn't there, it's just natural to wake at 7 or 8 now, but I force myself back to sleep. x

alfie stays out almost every saturday and has done since he was 6 weeks old and it never gets any easier!! in fact i think its getting worse for me cos hes getting older and im finding him more fun to be with. hes no bother for any1 he stays with. it varies between my mam and my auntie. the past few times hes screamed after me when i first left (seperation anxiety i think) but as soon as i leave hes fine. Now I dont even bother saying bye and just make a quick exit! enjoy the peace while u can x
