It's BANDA's 1st Birthday Tomorrow!

Woooooo we have done so well in our first year - a great community ..lots of new babies and babies becoming toddlers...new members...best forum winners!!!

We have had plenty of ups in the year, and unfortunately some very sad lows, Laura was one of the first to join banda, and I really never thought that we would lose a member - you are still very much missed lovely Laura xxx

As an anniversary celebration I think we should all think of our favourite BANDA thread or quote from the last year...one of my fav has actually only just happened in the last few days and involved someones bump band Laughing

So let me know below what you think is the thread or quote of the year!

Oh one just came to mind - the thread about clare's oldest son in the bath 'playing' and someone suggested finding a male model to talk to him about it. Laughing

I still haven't worked out why the male model would be a good idea....did they ever explain that one?!

yeah i'm so pleased that thread gets mentioned again, i still have the emotional scars, but a model around the house be nice.

i think my favourites have been the ones where you can see the support thats here, you know you can give your deepest fears or tell about your personal life and someone always as something positive to say

but for specific thread will have to have a think

I think apart from the serious like Clare says, the one that had me coming back and actually LOL was the one where everyone was looking up rude words on urban dictionary pmsl.

BANDA has literally been my lifeline this year, Dont think i would have made it without it and the members all of who i love like best friends and family rolled into one.

But its the banter i love, the shout box has been the source of amusement for me, trying to find swear words we can use, when were not being serious it turns us into the biggest kids and i love it!

Ihave to agree with donna, both on the support and family feel to this place and to the comedy value of everyone trying to circumnavigate the swear filter like a bunch of naughty kids
