| i know i've posted in banda fb, but needed to vent agian...im so mad aswell as sad...this is 3 epileptic fits in 8 days now...i'm so mad at the world...i think being on crutches, and having to have a full hip replacement is enough for any 13 yr old...nevermind having to deal with this aswello!!! she was diagnosed with epi last june, (her first fit) then had none until last saturday...then she had 1 yesterday and 1 today, the one i saw today was the first fit i've seen...i had to hold her (she was on her chair painting!) and obviously you're meant to leave them and not hold them in...but i couldn't leave her as she would have hurt herself...i got her on the floor and nearly died of shock...her face was grey, lips were blue...she was making grunting noises and couln't breathe properly...i put her in the recovery position and stared into her eyes, talking through it with her...i know she was in there somewhere...this fit lasted about 1minute...but it was so frightening my poor lil darling sister, she feels so bad, which is the saddest thing...why couldn't this happen to someone evil???? she's so worried that it's going to happen on the big day (wedding!) and so am i...i don't know what else i can do, just pray that she doesn't have a fit calling specialist tomorrow, see if they tell us to up meds, but it's not like it works straight away...it could be a good 4/6 weeks before it helps... |

| I really sympathise with you all I started having seizures at about the age of 12 Didnt have them that bad were about a couple a year for a few years then just started getting further apart and now I havent had any for about 15 years now
So hopefully she will get some answers of why it has started and get some meds to help with it It takes a while to get the meds right and blood tests and stuff but its all worth it as hopefully she will just grow out of them like i seemed to have do XXX |

| i'm hoping so tara, as she wants to do someting with her life and not have a shitty life stuck in the house/in a wheelchair poor lil girl. the first meds she was on (first ones she ever took) were fab, they stopped her absences/fits, but she lost most of her hair, started going bald...she has decided she wants to ask to goback on that one and she'll wear a wig...bless her |
