We have our own pool and like to try and get in it every afternoon with Tyler to build up his confidence in the water - obviously as its our own we all just get changed in our lounge and pop outside. Tyler loooooves watching us getting changed and is really starting to become intrigued with our "parts"

he comes up and pokes my boobs and nipples which is ok but its our other parts that im not sure how to deal with...



obviously I don't want to make him all uncomfortable about seeing naked bodies but can't help feeling it's wrong that a toddler likes to come up and see what mummy and daddy have under their pants.



what should we do? just change elsewhere so he doesn't see us?

Hmm it's a tough one. Imogen is quite intrigued at the moment by private parts and when she tries to touch we explain that it's rude to touch other people's private parts if they don't want you to and then try to distract her with something else.

I don't know if thats the right way to handle it but it seems to work for us at the moment.

ummm i kind of think that at tylers age its still ok especially if he is just curious - i wouldn't start changing somewhere else in case he felt he was being naughty or something for looking. i would maybe take the opportunity to talk about boys and girls being different, and maybe just explain that now you understand boys and girls are different, it isn't nice to poke/stare at other people's bodies.....

he might be a bit young yet for that though im not sure!

I wouldnt get changed anywhere else. C has always been used to us being naked and once she showed interest I explained boys have boy bits and girls have girl bits. Unfortunately as I now have a child who likes to get nude at the drop of a hat and announce she is now Nakey Bum Jackson I have also had to explain nakey is ok for family but not strangers as she was stood loud and proud in her bedroom window. Bit off track but im jst trying to say dont fret overmuch its all natural just be very factual and say those are mummys boobies tyler, its ok you can see them but please dont poke them

ahhh sounds all normal then just didn't want to have a child who thought it was ok to go round poking people... mind if anyone else was naked in my house Id expect him to be curious haha
