he gets stuff all the time really so that will probably be it for christmas but he'll only be 19 months so can't imagine he will care (and between now and then i think the little pile of things for him will grow )

we have pretty much got D's xmas sorted si think we are going to request happyland stuff rom family

That looks good, I love Happyland stuff. We have a castle to give her for xmas - got it on BOGOF in May time and gave her a cottage for her bday which she loves.

Double check your set has the pig lol! Just read a few reviews and they appear to have forgot to put a pig in loads of the sets.

went to see it in real life today and saw all the other happyland stuff now i want it all and im back to being undecided

lol Ive been building up happy land collections since Tyler was born and this is his lucky year lol. Ive got nearly all the space stuff - just need the rocket and err he's got the safari plane thing and the pirate sets he's already had some of the other ones... they often do them half price over here so I snap them up when I see them as over here if you don't buy it when you see it it will NEVER be there again tut. no good for my bank balance but hey at least Ive sorted his bday and Xmas presents! hoorah

that's awesome jade, i didn't even know what they were til i read about them on here im so out of touch! they do look lovely but farm, dinosaurs, rocket, cottage argh so much to choose from!

Didn't they remove the pigs for fear of upsetting people but ended up upsetting people anyway so reinstated them?

I lurve happy land stuff and every year since he was born I've suggested people get it as presents but nobody ever does! Actually, he ended up with a quad bike on the back of a lorry and he has a digger but I'm not sure they are happy land?

I want to get him a new garage for cars this year as he has a boots one but it's bubble cars or somethin and hE has loads of matchbox cars now so want one for those so keep your eyes out peeps!

haha in a couple of years that will be us too i did look at getting elijah cars and stuff but im really conscious of getting loads of really 'boyish' things, would rather try and stay a bit neutral (farm - neutral yes, cottage - hmm neutral yes, space rocket - umm neutral? not sure)

i think i am going for it at the end of this month - ooooh bit risky in case they squeeze a sale in but i think i better get it while i have the money. still dunno what though, i like the cottages and treehouses but they are so girly : /

yeah, they're the ones I like but then I do have a girl
I've got my holiday to pay for next month so it'll be a tight month but I'd rather be skint now than November/December!

maybe i will just get the treehouse and pretend its arwyns though i do like the one cottage that isn't pink, i like the farm too but there isn't much to actually *do* with the building.....john loves the rocket ship of course

Chase had/has the rocket ship, I didn't think it was that exciting. I think the farm looks better, especially when he's a bit older and makes the animal noises while her plays Farmer Elijah!

he is a very good farmer already! yeah i am trying to figure out what you can actually *do* with the different things, the cottages open and you have rooms and stuff but the rocket ship just has 2 doors and nothing much else, the dinosaurs dont seem to be up to much either so probably not got much play potential

^^Thats the one we gave Caitlin for her bday & she loves it! The door bell rings and Caitlin loves pressing it and asking the people to 'come in' or 'go away noisy boy' The cooker makes a sizzling noise, the TV plays country music and flashes if you press the armchair, and the phone rings. Nothing upstairs makes noise.

oooooh that's the one i was looking at snoops, cos it isn't too girly. i wanted it to fold out like the really pink one but alas no...i didn't realise it did all that mad sh*t though

mari do they them out for child (mari) testing in the store? they do over here but admittedly not all of them at the same time (booooo)



I don't think any of the cottage or farm ones have ever been on offer over here so thats why we have the space stuff lol. some of the things are rubbish but Tyler loves the dinosaur we gave him... it's like cave men and this massive dinosaur when you push its arm it goes rroooooaaaagghhhhh and Tyler copies it [Only admins are allowed to see this image]

but thats about all it does haha.

oh i was looking at the dinosaur and thought hmph its doesnt do much except go rar (i.e couldn't do much imaginitive play/stories with it) but perhaps im not seeing through the eyes of a 2 year old

they did have a couple out but they were so high up even mr.mari couldn't reach i may get the alien house thing cos its got quite a lot to do.....hm hm hm

is that the martian moon base? pmsl we got that instead of a garage as we though it was slightly less boyish than a car garage but it looks like the little aliens slide down some slides similar to cars in a garage would haha.



but thats for Tylers bday so Ive not even got it out to play with yet it could be completely rubbish!

OOOH yeah and forgot to say - do they do birthday or christmas lists at ELC over there where they give you 10% of the stuff sold back in voucherS?
