I'm taking the girls to the park for the first time on my own this afternoon I normaly go with someone else but I seam to have lost all my friends so o am guna be brave an go on my own! Just thinkin about it panics me but got to be done

I'm having a bit of a freak out this morning cos i have to go to the big supermarket on my own. It would never have bothered me before but since my EP i'm finding it really nervey going out on my own.

I failed I managed to get on the car and to the park but then freaked out and came home
I'm a bad excuses for. Mum I can't even tale my own kids out to the park I am a complete failer no use to anyone

Aww hun, don't feel like that. You tried and that is the main thing. Just keep trying. I barely take Imogen to the park because i just can't get the confidence to get out the front door so you did well xxx

Char don't say your a failure..if at 1st you don't succeed, try try again. you will get there but don't put a huge amount of pressure on yourself
Just take it as it comes

Dont beat yourself up over it you got yourselve to the car thats better then not even going out the door just do it at small steps xx

Char I suffer from Anxiety/Panic attacks and have started medication and an online therapy session thingy...

One question I always get asked...

What is the worse thats gonna happen? To me I feel like I'm gonna pass out, I know how to stop that happening, Its the fear of being somewhere I can't get away from. I wasn't able to queue in the post office! - It never occurred to me, if I can't queue anymore I can just leave - I am not trapped. I would suggest popping to you docs and explain the situation.. Like I said to many others... Thats the worse bit!... I came out with my prescription for 2 40mg tablets a day and a referral for Therapy.. I was fast tracked to online the ray as the wait is soooo long apparently . Two days after taking tablets I took myself along to the post office and queued - I did it! I bought a poxy stamp I didn't need but managed to stand in that queue....

So my question> What is the worse thats gonna happen.... Don't feel you need to tell me, but just sit and consider it for a while....
