We have been trying for just over a year now...my hubby has a lower sperm count (that was a year ago...i dont know if it has changed since ttc!)
We decided to go for the relaxed approach and just regularly...at the moment its every other day from day 12...then as my ewcm changes we everyday! But we havent fallen yet...

Im considering starting to take my temp to beable to chart my cycle a bit more accurately...

i dont know when is the right time to go to the next step and ask for advice from the GP and if there is anything they can do...

I'd go to the dr if you've been trying for a year. They'll be able to do some tests and things

I would say go to the doc's too. On the NHS website it does say to seek advice from you gp if you've been ttc for one or two years.

My friend has been ttc for 2yrs and has just started seeking help, they are just in the process of doing bloods and monthly bloods etc.
