We applied for the fistbuy direct government home buying scheme and got the letter through today saying we've excepted and we are in the highest group as we are in council housing. Finally going to be ae to buy a house.

There is one in another town about 20 mins from us and the lay out of the downstairs is just what I want. Basically I want a house where the living area is at the back and has doors that open up into the garden and this house does. Going to show OH tonight then hopefully put our names forward.

I miss having a house and a garden for Rowan to play

I'd love a house where the lounge opens onto the garden too - I love being outdoors till the sun goes down but OH has vittiligo and is basically afraid of the sun so either one of us is fed up or the family is split.

Having said that the kitchen also needs to overlook the garden so you can do housework and watch kids outside. I don't want much do I lol!
