Im so tempted to lift Caitlin from her sleep and bring her into my bed. Totally selfish mummy

Stuart away out on the beer & wont be back until 2am so is sleeping on sofa. Im just thinking that in a less than 16 weeks il have a newborn in my room and wont get to have snuggly sleepover nights with toddler Caitlin again. She used to sleep in my bed about once or twice a month, but since she got her cotbed sides off 5 weeks ago Iv been firm and she now rarely even asks to get in. I needed it nipped in the bud so she doesnt feel put out by baby in my room.

I'l regret it when she wakes at 5am and pulls my eyelids open, or has a melt down at bed time 2moro but its still tempting! I want to sniff her hair. I sound mental & know il undo my hard work but its sooo tempting right now....

erm....hannahs in my bed right now my oh works nights so its always so tempting. we cuddled up tonight and watched barney after doing our nails so she ended up staying here.

Hmmm she usually wakes at around midnight for a quick moan/toss about so if im still awake then I may rush in to grab, sorry I mean comfort , her!

Awww did you have her in your bed in the end? Stephen has never slept in our bed, I've tried to bring him in for cuddles but he just sees it as an opportunity for a wrestle/to jump on my head/ smack me round the face/climb allover me I'd love a few snuggly bed cuddles! xx

Nope, I fell asleep and didnt hear a peep from her! I'l prob do it at least one more time before baby arrives. Caitlin doesnt sleep the best in my bed either, but its still nice occasionally!

i have been going to bed early lately and taking her up with me and both of us curl up in my bed, Mike has to move her when he comes to bed as we are usually both crashed out

I dont do it often either as its not worth it when shes wriggling but its hard not to sometimes. Ive even gone up and crawled into her bed for a while before now for sneaky cuddles lol. Mothers are mental

We had H in our bed the other night as Lewis woke him up. It was nice x

I get tempted often too. Nothing beats mummy cuddles Sometimes Cerys will touch my face put her arm round my neck and give me a squeezy hug

awww its lovely having them in the bed....doesn't happen with Izzy though cos she will lay there prodding and poking up my nose, ears, inspecting my teeth....doesn't matter how long I pretend to be asleep for...when she gets bored of that she does some stunt body slams (it's hard to pretend to be asleep during these episodes as one nearly gets knocked out the bed)

aaah its lovely when they cuddle you in bed. Megan is such a fidget bum though, she won't keep still!! x

if you mean picked your lo out of bed to bring in yours, no! I haven't done it either I just meant in the morning when she comes in for 5 mins before getting up lol!! x

I dont think iv ever picked her out of a contented sleep before but I have let her sleep with me the whole night before if im tired at her bedtime. More often than not though its at midnight/1am when im just falling asleep and she wakes up for dummy/crys and Iv ended up giving in and bringin her in.

Ive not gone and gotten her to put her in bed with me, ive let her in in the mornings all the time after 5 or 6 though and have gone and gotten in hers for a quick cuddle before bed before now or slept in her bad when neils snoring has been too awful lol

Libby just wouldnt do bed cuddles, she sees our bed as a trampoline so no chance



Even Dexter wont, I tried putting him in our bed when he woke up at 5am - he had some milk, I laid him down next to me and and he just stared around the room chatting away then got bored after a few mins so I had to get up

nope Tylers never slept in my bed either - the closest I get to sleepy cuddles are the few times he's fallen asleep on me because he ended upmissing his afty nap and just couldn't keep his eyes open..



He plays in our bed so would never fall asleep in it.

Well I jinxed myself! She woke last night at 3am and I thought she had just lost dummy so went in to find it for her - she went nuts and started sobbing for my bed. I let her in and it took until near 5am for us to get back to sleep. At 4am she demanded medicine (for about 20 mins I thought she was prattling on about a mountain and I tried explaining to her that we would go for a big walk in the morning). When I finally twigged on and got up to get her some she giggled like a loon and danced about the kitchen hyper
