PostSubject: Travel cot mattress   Travel cot mattress EmptyThu Aug 25, 2011 6:11 am

Hi

We've got a travel cot which we have had for a while (Graco Contour electra) When Rob has slept in it it has only been for 1 or 2 nights but we're going to be staying over somewhere for 1 week so wanted to get another mattress to go in the travel cot as the one thats in there is a little firm, its ok for 1 ot 2 nights but i wouldnt want to sleep on if for longer than that so i dont think Rob would!
So was just wondering if there were such things as mattress toppers for Travel cots or would it just be another mattress on top of the mattress thats in there? Also if you could tell me what one's you have got if you've needed to add one?

Thanks

What i do is put a quilt folded up and a sheet on top to make it firmer so he doesnt sink. It seems to work and looks lovely and comfy.

We have a hauck travel cot and the mattress is only really a base that about an inch thick so we got an extra one from toysrus which is about 3 inches and he has slept in it really well since although it's a bit of a pain having to take it separately but. Kept the plastic bag cover that it came in and that keeps it clean in the car.
