| fr those that have flown, what seats would you recommend? , i dont think its a good idea for window seats, do you think 2 aisle seats would be best so she can run up and down the aisles ? |

| Yes! I sat on the aisle with her on my knee last time although she didnt run up and down as was quite happy to stay there and nibble, read etc
Hopefully you can get a free seat! On the way we did so I sat by the window and my mum on the aisle and Izzy in the middle seat! |

| hmm see I think window seat is better because if she sleeps she won't get disturbed by people trying to get past...
but it depends ... the one time I had Tyler in the aisle he didn't sleep very well and woke up but then if it's not a long flight the aisle is probably better... these were 5 hour flights |

| Id say an aisle seat so that she can kick her feet a bit. On the way to Cyprus Ellie continuosly kicked the seat in front and the cow face in front gave her dirty looks and told me off!! |

| we had all 3 seats so evan went to each of us although we were lucky and had the front of the plane so we had tons of leg room infront of us where evan cud walk and sit and play, going he slept the whole time on my knee which was window seat and coming back he played infront of us |

| We didn't have a choice, just got placed in the middle block. There were four of us though so she could switch laps, but she actually fell asleep for most of the flight (night flight). We took books and toys to entertain her. I didn't get up and let her walk around as I knew i'd never get her sat down again without a tantrum. |

| Can't really add to this just wanted to say I am in awe of anyone brave ?or foolish) enough to take a toddler on holiday away from toys and CBeebies and other sources of child distraction! |

| i'm with Lisa, i have a toddler that will sleep nowhere apart from her cot, she's far too inquisitive. I think the 2 aisle seats might be best so we can take turns walking up and down with her. |

Ha, I'm laughing (nervously) at some of these replies. We are off to New Zealand end of next month. From the moment we leave our place and arrive at my parents place it will be well over 30 hours (24 hours of flying). We have done it before (pure torture) but I've finally gotten over that to try it again. Yes I am crazy but if we didn't give it a go, I'd never get to go home again. Just trying not to think about it too much..... xTx |
