ooo soo here i go..


as most of you know, i was booked in a week early to have him due to some probs i was having
(spd, varicose Veins in lady places and a bad birth wih paige n getting stuck)

i went into hopsital on the monday morning. by 9am they was ready to start the gels off. but he wasnt engaged and they wasnt sure if he was breach (again ) so they wanted me to go to labour ward have a scan and get induced there for 'safety' rasons. so any way... they didnt have any beds.. so had to sit in the ward until they did.. this bit was VERY boring.

come 7pm.. i get told im moving up to labour ward (yay ) n that they would start things off straight away after a scan. so they scanned me. he was head down but not dropped and the cord was in a safe place.. they then started me off on the gel.. about 20 mins later i started to get bad cramps.. about a hour later i start to have small contractions about 3 mins apart.. they said they wouldnt do any thing untill 2am when the gel has been in side for 6 hours. so im contracting away.. every 2 mins.. very sleepy by 2am comes round. i get checked over. been told that im 1cm n my cervix is slowly moving down. they said they was not going to give me any more gel for the night as i was contracing and i needed sleep. so they gave me a sweep, n some pethidine, so i could sleep. perry stayed that night n we shared the bed lol

next morning. about 7am.. i get a double dose of gel and start contracting hard.. after a while it gets too painful so ask for gas n air.. which i had to fight perry off as he kept nicking it off me

some when dont know what time.. as lost track i asked for a epi.. as pain was worse.. got told no by the mid wife as i 'wasnt ready' and they wouldnt check me again till 2.30pm.. pain gets worse so she runs me a bath i spend about 20 mins in the bath n gas n air n thing sgte more painful. i ask perry to get the mw to check me or to get a epi as really painful n couldnt keep still. i get told the same thing, ur not ready.... n she wont check me.

i get out of the bath pery goes n gets some lunch,, in this time.. i feel like i need to push.. i get the midwife again n she said i wasnt ready but noo. she still wouldnt check me to see how far i was

i then start crying from the pain.. throw up all of over my self and start screaming like a mad woman.. two other mw's come in.. get me out of my sick clothes n into some clean suff. now im screaming shouting and needing to push bit time.. i got told not to while being held down.. but i pushed any way and my waters went.. perry comes back in at this point. all i can remember now i get wheeled into a birth room.. still screaming that i need to push and being told no, not ready.. then being told i need to get on another bed so they can check me.. im at this point really badly screaming the ward down and yelling i need to push.. they shoutng back at me saying no dont push. im on the bed n my mw said i can see a head.. another one said dont push.. so i push.. n then i hear push slowly.. which i didnt.. next tjing i know some one said theres the head. n then said your baby has been born n he is plonked on top of me. Trent was born at 12.13pm weighing a small 7.10lb. me n perry were in shock as been told that i wasnt ready n they wouldnt check me till bloody 2.30pm

he was okay but there was worry as he had blisters on his skin.. had loads of baby docs look at him n he is okay.. but i think the poor sod has thrush.

and thats it really. only grazed which im happy about!

Firstly Congratulations!! He is sooooo adorable.
Secondly omg that mw sounds like a right biatch refusing to check you. You poor thing. At least he's here safe and sound now though.

Congrats again hun, can't believe you've had your baby and mine will be here soon, seems like only yesterday we both had those faint positives. xxx
