Harrys the same hun, took him to docs yesterday and he said not to force them to eat, just make sure they have plenty of fluids, does she still have milk?? Maybe just give her water and milk during the day and some toast or something if she wants proper food. Harry only had a piece of toast and 11 oz milk all day yesterday but he didn't seem interested in food at all as he has a very sore throat. Hope she gets better soon its awful when they're ill xx

When Caitlins sick I tend to keep it simple and just let her guide me. Generally when she has a cold she will eat less and drink more. I give her toast at breakfast, a ham sandwhich & fruit at lunch and maybe stew at tea (If she has the cold she may only eat a 3rd of what I give her). I dont really alter her diet that much, just try and give her food she enjoys that will fill her if she aint up to eating much. I always try and have a cup of water in the room with her so she can drink away all day. Big hugs from caitlin. x

Aww thanks ladies, i gave her toast for brekkie but she couldnt eat it and was gagging because she couldnt breathe bless her. Shes not much of a big drinker so i might give her an extra bottle of milk after her nap. I might try to give her some soup and bread for dinner tonight and an orange with her lunch

Poor little bubba, give her what you would have yourself if you were poorly, soup is a good one as it's easy to swallow, and just try and keep her fluids up as much as possible. Hope she's better soon x

I'd go for anything runny and easy to swallow, and warm to help unblock her nose. I always have curry when i have a cold, the combination of heat and spicyness always unblocks my nose, and gets all the horrible snot shifted out. Don't know how your lo would take to curry though, might upset her tummy..Hope she feels better soon!
