| is anyone worried about it, I know its not exactly a hurricane now as it has to be 90mph to be classified so its more of a tropical storm. I know that at the moment I am safe as it is supposed to miss us but cant help thinking all its going to take is a wind direction x |

| char I have sourced this.
The remains of ex-hurricane Katia are now racing across the Atlantic and will arrive across Britain and Ireland during tonight and tomorrow, bringing with them some heavy rain and very strong winds. Even at this short range there are still some question marks over the exact track that this storm system will take, but north-western areas of the country remain at highest risk of seeing damaging gusts of wind during Monday and into Tuesday. |

| Were in the yellow and with 5 huge fir trees in garden, whose branches don't start till past our house and that we've had a few branches fall down over past few weeks we worried.
As for the branches I'm not feeding the squirrels any more nuts, they obviously too fat lol |

| Lol we have 2 massive trees in our garden too (the huge Xmas type trees) they are taller than our house which is a 3 story terraced lol. Thankfully no loss of branches yet. They do make a right racket though when it's windy! I hope all thoses in the red areas stay safe and it passes quick |

| I didn't know anything about it! Looks like we're right on the red/yellow boarder so may be at risk. |

| That map could easily not be the case though, Ive just looked again and Southprt is in the red zone...well thats only 80 miles road (50 as the bird flies?) so thats not a very big gap between safe and high risk?!!! |

| I remember the big one in the late 80's. We got kept off school and one of our trees came over in the front garden and landed on the fence, which landed on next doors car! The damage was unbelievable. I certainly wouldn't want to see another one, they are very scary things to experience |
