Apparently MIL and FIL are taking Flick away tomorrow and I knew nothing of it until 10 mins ago!
Its nice that they want to take her away but its getting too much for me now. Esp as I am not working atm and I want to spend time with her. I even told Dan about my plans to take her to the park tomorrow if it is dry and he said yeah no mention of her going away!
Am hurrying to pack her a bag,am knackered and pissed off and he is upstairs wondering why!

Going away?? As in for how long?? Surely they should have asked your permission!!! And what about clothes and nappies etc, how were they intending to get them? OMG i would be absolutely fuming!!!!!!!!!!1

They have plenty of stuff for he, I just wish someone had bloody told me. Dan is adamant that he told me Sunday but I wouldn't forget something like that. I told him that this is the last one for a while x

Your MIL & FIL seem to have her alot, just judging by fb pics. Can they not take her 1 or 2 afternoons as opposed to weekends and overnights? I dont think very many DILs agree to MIL taking grandchilldren away as much as you seem to have so your MIL has been very lucky.

You shouldnt feel bad for wanting your own daughter with you when you aint at work. Yes its nice to get a break but even one weekend every couple of months would be enough - aswell as an afternoon a week I mean. Its up to you but I wouldnt be happy with it. Id also be peeved that they have got quite presumptuous and think they can take Flick when and were they want. She is your baby not theirs. Dan should have told you too, maybe im being harsh on your MIL and its dan agreeing to everything in which case he's in the wrong for not asking you - or realising for himself that its getting too much!

The only thing I suppose is they have got quite used to having her and your MIL may huff (like last time about food) if you start saying no. No excuse mind, you still need to put your foot down. Hope your MIL takes it well and doesnt decide she cant take flick next time you working but out of spite.

Hope flick has a lovely time - at least they take enough pics while they away lol, and you get it sorted when they get back. Enjoy the break too I suppose x

Awww Hun, they should ask you both together, not tell you what's happening, this would annoy me and I'd make up plans so she can't go to prove they need to ask first
