It is similar to facebook hun but it's still very primitive at the moment. It has some great features though so could be good with a bit of work.
Everything you post is automatically private unless you click share and then you choose which of your circles you share with. I've added you and can't see anything on your profile until you add me to one of your circles and share stuff with that particular cirle - if that makes sense
