| What do you buy?
She got a till, dolls house, dollies &assessories, shopping basket and fake food all for her birthday and if i'm honest she barely plays with them. Dolls were the best but now she has Josh she doesn't want her dolls. I think the best thing she has is the Kiddizoom.
I don't know what to buy now. Kelly gave me a link for a great scooter and my Grandad has asked if he can get that. I'll buy her a christmas dress as that's tradition in our family all us girls get a posh new dress to wear for the day. That's not overly exciting though. I did think about getting her a dressing table as she's so girly and really into her hair and my makeup but cheapest I've seen is £70 in Argos and that doesn't include the mirror bit for the top. Maybe some of you think thats not much but I don't like to spend a lot and I think thats too much for a little dressing table.. (btw it's a wooden one, I don't like plastic big things like that) The only other thing i can think she might be interested in is one of those heads where you can play with the hair and style it as she does love to play with my hair. I'm just really hesistant to buy things like that though as I don't want something else cluttering my house she isn't going to play with.
Guess I could always get her some Twilight merchandise, she's still obsessed with it. |

| How about a charm bracelet which you could put away and add til for when shes a bit older?!
Dita will get loadsof birthday money and she has sooo many toys and loads of new ones for her birthday too so im going to use her money to buy her a pandora charm braclet then each year bday/xmas get her a charm for it. Gna give her it when she is about 15, well i say that but it will be worth about 1k by then so i would hate giving her it if she is irresponsible! x |

| She has a sandpit, play house and easel. We haven't bought her a swing or slide becuase the park is literally just outside our house so we take her there.
Trampoline is a good idea, but it would have to be a small one as our garden isn't that big. |

| She does like things like that but we have a big duplo zoo set and she never plays with it. I've put it away now cause all she did was throw it around. She only seems to like those things at toddler group :S I have a weird child. |

| I think a trip with her to toysrus is in order. That's what I do with Amelia. She goes off and plays with stuff, I take note and buy it for her later lol |

| That sounds like a good idea. I've just been sitting with her scanning through the argos website, she pointed to everything and said whats that? so think it might be best to go to a toy shop. |

| if you can take it i would try the playdoh/plasticine (i know i know, mess! mr.mari cant look at the mixed up tubs of playdoh now) cos you can get machines and stuff that 'do' things rather than her having to 'do' something.....uhhh that didn't make sense.... musical instruments? fuzzy felt (we googled it yesterday and had a bit of reminiscence thanks jade )? laptop/tablet? you could put that away....elijah's favourite things are always what grownups do so maybe think about what she does/helps with? |

My friend got sophie this for her birthday, if Likes baths it could be an alternative to the hair doll thing you mentioned above. Would be kept in the bathroom then ( it suckers on the bath) so not cluttering up the place.

| A good tip from my mum (she actually had a good idea) is take her to a play group that has lots of toys and things to play with. My mum said when she needed ideas of what we would like she would watch over 2-3 visits what we went straight to or played with all the time. and thats how she got us our gifts.
We are getting more wooden train pieces for rowan as he does nothing but play with his trains at home he then goes to pre-school and nursery and plays with trains there too.
what about her fav tv character or theme bedding set. (you guessed it wee are getting a train one for rowan) |

| She not really into any particular tv character, she's kind of take or leave it when it comes to characters. She did really like Peter Pan but theres not much Peter Pan stuff about, only Tinkerbell and she doesn't seem interested in her. She's absolutely obsessed with Twilight. I looked at the bedding set cause i know she'd love it but it's so dark lol it would look silly in her girly pink room, but i guess if thats what she wants.. |
