PostSubject: BREAKING POINT!   BREAKING POINT! EmptySat Oct 01, 2011 5:27 am

My anxiety is through the fookin roof!!!!!!!!!!!

Isla is absolutely driving me insane..........please god, I seriously cant cope!!!

9 hours today, all ive had is whining 'muuuuuummmmmmmmyyyyyyy'......clinging to my leg, screaming if anyone else tries to come between us, pushing Jess, biting jess, more 'mmmmmuuuuuuuummmmmmmmyyyyyyyy'

Its all since ive gone back to work, and shes gone to nursery!!! Grandma tried to take her to tumble tots for me yesterday to try and give me half an hour break from her, and all she did was cry and fling herself about! They brought her home early!

She normally goes to bed fine but not now......even more 'mmmuuuuuummmmmmmmyyyyyyy' in the most whiniest voice ever (currently listening to it now....arhhggggghhhhhhhhhh)

I CANT DO THIS - I FEEL LIKE PACKING A BAG AND WALKING AWAY - ITS CONSTANT, SHE NEVER LETS UP!!!

My panic and anxiety is off the scale, what the hell am I doing wrong???? What do i do???? Everyone that 'used' to offer to help out, now is nowhere to be seen now shes a handful, so its me and chris!!

Awwww hun MASSIVE (((HUG))) awww hug Don't know what to suggest really, didnt want to read and run. I doubt very much that you are doing anything wrong. From what I've seen from other toddlers and heard off friends that it is pretty normal. Sounds like you are a fab mum and that she adores you so much, she just wants to be with you all the time xx

Ok calm down, this is nothing to do with you or your parenting skills! This is her way of trying to have some control over a situation she's not use to!

It is Unfortunatly a completly normal reaction for her to have, it may grate on you but it will fade! She needs to get use to the change in routine, I sometimes think when we leave the kids with someone that we don't always think how the kids feel, she misses her mummy and is so looking for more attention because she's missed you!

Charlie was just like that when I went back to college, it's died down a bit now, and dare I say it I feel a little unloved and not needed as he gets excited to see the Childminder Sad really can't win lol!

I hope she let's off a little, Unfortunatly I don't think it'll help your feelings at the moment but your a fab mum and it's really not your fault!
