Well she won her appeal and has been cleared of murder. I'm not sure though? I think it's more a case that correct procedure wasn't followed that got her off rather than she didn't do it. What's your opinion?

TBH I have NO idea, from what I've read there wasn't a huge amount of evidence against her...but for some reason I think she did have some part to play in it..although I'm not entirely sure why I think it.

I feel for her family,because I assume her being found innocent will restart any investigation. I can't imagine the pain they must feel in having to relive it again and again.

i think its appalling! if there was DNA why wasnt procedure followed. and why were neither of the people charged trying to explain a possible reason the only defence i heard was we didnt do it, if someone can point me in the direction of what i am missing please do cos i am lost here

Have to say I have no real opinion about whether she's guilty or not but it did seem like some things didn't add up and they do seem to have just gunned for her from the start

A third person - Rudy Guede, 24 - was also convicted of Miss
Kercher's murder in a separate trial and was sentenced to 30 years in
prison.

His conviction was upheld on appeal but his sentence reduced to 16 years.


So does this mean that Rudy was the only person responsible for her death? If so why has his sentence been reduced?! Makes no sense to me at all

The whole thing is a complete shambles. I think being able to afford some of the worlds most expensive lawyers has helped somewhat

I just feel sorry for victims family, if they had closure, they don't now.

Yeh odd! He either did it or not...if he did it then why reduce the time?!

Personaly I think she had something to do with it, but more of a case in the wrong place at the wrong time.

but must be hard for the family tho, would be utter nightmare not knowing exactly what happened. xx

I read up on it all on Wiki last night and I just dont get any of it.

Firstly, whether she had anything to do with it or not, she is an evil cow for accusing her boss of the murder and saying she was there when he did it - surely that makes no sense.

I just dont have any idea whether she did it, but I dont think she is as innocent as she makes out - nobody accuses an innocent person of murder unless you have something to hide! x

I don't really know enough about it but thought she got off on the basis that the investigation wasn't conducted properly or something... what a disgrace if she did have something to do with it and I bet now Meredith's family will never know.

Well i read that they're sure that he did do it, but they're also sure that he wasn't alone in doing it!

I don't entirely trust knox, even if she didn't actually murder meredith herself, i think she at least knows more about it or has some part to play.

I read some on it aswell in thesun and it said she had so many stab wounds from two different knifes that 1person couldnt of possibly done it
I think she was envolved somehow.
