Flick has given me her bug and I start a new job on Tuesday!
Can anyone suggest anything that will help shift it?
I have a sore throat and my voice is a squeaky

OH doesn't 'believe' in cold and flu tablets

I can't be ill on my first day and I need to get rid of the queaky voice as I
will be on the phone all day xxx

Beechams lemon powder things lol! I didnt believe in cold and flu stuff but MIL gave them to me once and i felt great!
Need to take my own advise and go get some coz i feel awful too Taylas passed on her cold too!

I recommend telling your oh to sod off and having a nice lemsip

honey and lemon juice in hot water is always a decent alternative

Lemsip does make me feel better or even hot vimto/orange squash and a couple of paracetamol.

I'm sure you'll be better in time for your new job

I swear by soluble vitamin C and soluble paracetamol in the same glass. I worked for a well known pharmaceutical company years ago and we used to mix Berrocca and paracetamol and it shifted most things.

yes Berroca is excellent so if that is the alternative that Gill mentioned it will defo help x

We have had this and we found first 24 hours are a nightmere but after that it seems to shift rather quickly xgood luck for Tuesday you should be fine if its the same cold thing x
