| First off you aren't thick!! stop thinking like that sweetie.
Erm what level would you be thinking of doing? I wouldn't recommend higher maths really, as I know a few people that have done it at a level/degree and its looked hard but thats me looking you might have a better grasp of it.
English is interesting and i think as long as you can read and keep up with the classic books you'll be fine. |

| heya, if you look at your local college they will definitely have someone to meet with you and suggest courses that they run - there are often lots of good access courses. in an access course you would usually do some maths, english and one or two other subjects, not normally at a-level but closer to gcse level. you could probably also get a bursary and some money towards childcare which might be ideal i would say go for it, it will be easy on your back/hips and it will make a better future, plus not working with your family might help you meet new people |

| Access does include maths and English at gcse level but you tend to do three specialist subjects which are as/a level standard, but if you were to be part time it's defiantly achievable to complete all of the work and to a good standard! What would you like to do eventually? If you wanted to do gcse English and match and it and then go onto an access course after you would be exempt from that side of the course anyway!
And you are not thick! |
