How about a coat or a new bag, or a watch, tickets to see a concert or X factor. Or how about some pampering, like getting your hair or nails done.

I usually ask for perfume, or benefit make up for bday.

For xmas im asking him for clothes post baby, possibly a sat nav from my mum as im doing so much driving in work, and also want some new pyrex dishes for making pasta bakes etc (how sad am I!)

Do you have a charm/pandora/nomination type bracelet? You could ask for one of those or some charms? A dvd box set?

LOL well no not from Stuart I suppose. Im going to ask MIL or SIL. The first xmas after Caitlin was born MIL, FIL, my aunty and SMIL all bought me a cookery book each. I should have taken offence but I found it quite funny that they thought I was such a crappy housewife. They were all called 'easy meals' or 'cooking cheap for numptys' etc

SIL is always buying me cutesy baking things too and I dont friggin bake! Id prefer to get something Id use than get more cookbooks or a bloody cake tin and stand!

snoops i have a thomas sabo bracelet that wouldnt say no to another charm , only thing being there is not a jewellers here that sell them and i like to see them properly before i buy , might hold off and get one next time we are in a town that actually sells them

snoops thats not sad!!! I asked my mum for a spice rack lol. everyone in work laughed at me. But I have major ocd with my spices and wanted them all to be in identical little jars and in alphabetical order. was the best present I got lol.

Not sad at all snoops, I love getting bits for the kitchen, when I'm shopping for other people at Xmas I always look at those kitchen/foodie sets you get in the likes of debenhams and hope someone will buy me one, but no one ever does!

In answer to the original question, If I didn't know I'd ask for cash or vouchers so I could go and choose what I wanted

Im sooo jealous!!! I wanted a hetty We got some samsung hoover instead a few weeks ago, which still excited me lol. I dont need saucepans but you've just reminded me I could do with some new basic baking trays... think im going to go kitchen shopping this week haha!

I'd love a spice rack. May have to go and put that on my Christmas list

Ii always get housy bits i got a tumbledryer the year b4 and a set of saucepans and a frying pan last year

What about money for some clothes or for a hair appointment xx
