| A few of us were talking about giving milk at bedtime and most of the girls said they don't give it anymore. It never occured to me to cut it out, for me its part of our routine as soon as Ava sees it she runs to me for a cuddle and then goes upstairs with David to bed. Is there a reason you should cut it out? Ava hardly eats as it is without taking more calories away from her |

| I dont think there is a reason to stop Izzy hasn't had a bottle of milk for a long time but she has supper, either cereal or porridge - so gets some milk - cos she doesn't really drink much milk in the day otherwise! |

| No, I wouldnt cut it out unless she decides to.
Aimee cut hers out in an instant as soon as Lily was born (oddly), but I have no intention on cutting out Lily's until she does it on her own. If she doesnt, then she can carry on having milk at bedtime for as long as she likes x |

| Tyler still has milk at bed time. He has his milk then goes up for his bath. Sometimes he doesn't want it sometimes he wolds it down but I always offer it to him he needs the extra calories too lol. |

| Hayden still has a 9oz bottle of milk every night and every morning. Otherwise he doesn't have milk. Like the others have said he can have as long as he wants. I did try transferring him to a beaker rather than bottle but he wouldn't drink it |

| Sophs still has bedtime milk in a beaker. She has been drinking less lately but then she does that and then drinks down a full beaker to catch us out!
I think my nephews still had milk at bedtime till they were about five, just as they got older, what they had it in changed.
I do wait until after the milk to brush her teeth though as apparently tis very sweet and can be bad for teeth to linger in mouth over night. Saying that though, I do it soon after milk so probs just as bad.

| benji was the biggestmilkoholic ever...then when he hit a year old, he gradually just stopped drinking it...he doesn't have a morning bottle of milk anymore- he'd rather drink a bottle of juice/water... then he'll maybe have 5-7oz on an evening and that's if he's not too tired!! i'd say give the bottle of milk to ava for as long as she wants it it's only goodness afterall |
