| I know his not a toddler yet but we took Jamie out of his grobags a while ago as he likes to turn over and crawl around the cot so sleeps better without them. I've ordered him a duvet and think his going to love it |

| im wondering if he will just kick them off and get cold though? although he does seem to like being quite cool when hes sleeping (me too i hate being too hot) hmmm i dunno, i suppose it isn't a waste as he would eventually use a duvet either way, but it's a bloody waste of grobags if he likes it! ![Laughing](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_lol.gif) |

| Stephen just kicks off blankets and ends up cold so we are definitely sticking with gro-bags! He moves round the cot a ridiculous amount in his sleep so I don't think a duvet would be any good. He has gro-bags with loads of feet room so he can wriggle as much as he wants. He has worked out how to take them off if he's had enough of it too but that's not very often! xx |

| Gro bags for us, Ellie is such a wriggler that she's all over the cot and would end up cold with no blankets on. |

| lily-ann has to have a grobag as she won't sleep without it but lewis just has a duvet and will rarely stay under it, but he seems happy with that and can easily pull it back over if he gets cold
i'd definitely say duvet |

| alfie has sleeping bags. i dread the day i have to use a duvet as he hates anything being on top of him. if he comes in my bed he sleeps on top of the duvet as he hates being restricted. tbh tho alot of the time he just sleeps in his pjs for that very reason x |

| Amelia loved her grobags and I only took her out of them when she went into her big bed. She occasionally wakes me to pull her covers back over her even though she's capable of doing it herself. With grobags you don't need to do that. I'm tempted to keep her in one until she leaves home lol x |

| We put Jamie in grobags as he used to kick blankets off. He doesn't kick them off anymore but sometimes moves around so much his not under the blankets or is even on top of them. Part of the reason I'm getting him a duvet is because I think he'd find it easier to climb back under a duvet than his blankets |

| We switched Seb to a duvet in about June (age 2 1/4) as I wanted to make the change before taking the sides of the cotbed and before age 3 when he outgrows them, plus I wanted to make the change in the summer so that he wouldn't get so cold. It has certainly taken a while to get the hang of the duvet and he throws the pillow to the far end of the cotbed as he gets into bed, but I was unable to remove it completely (to save on washing!) as he demanded it back. I don't usually go into his room whilst he is asleep but I have seen him using the pillow as a duvet. |

| I'm still thinking of going back to grobags.
Imogen is such a wriggler - but she scooches upwards rather than snuggling down so she ends up lying across the pillow with no covers on. We bought some fleecy sleepsuits which helped keep her asleep for a bit, but now it's gone cool again she's waking up all cold around 4am - it's doing my nut in!
I've tried putting the duvet on sideways to get more tucking-in power, but last night she ended up on top of the thing, with it still tucked in tight, as though she'd never been under it in the first place!
It gets really cold in Imogen's room in winter, I didn't want to go back to grobags but may have to. The other option is to take the side off the cotbed to try to teach her to stay still (lest she fall out) but I don't trust her to stay in bed at 4am! |
