| they rung today to say my car would be wrote off, made me an offer of £2,500  cant believe it i paid £4000 only 10 months back plus £300 for special paint. i refused the offer and said i wanted to have a proper look round at how much a like for like car would cost, turns out that is about right, so my car has lost £1500 value in 10 months...no effing way...anyway, think im still refusing it as i want compensating for the special paint stuff too as i want that putting back on, plus im losing out on free MOT's that came with the car and the rest of my warrenty .fgs you have the stress of the accidenbt then all the messing about after  x |

| cars devalue soooooo quick , its unbelievable !!! Hope they give you a bit more. It also shows the huge mark up car sales people put on them x |

| Do you have to accept that or can you get an attorney for some advice? I just know here in Canada..you never sign off at the first offer from the insurance co's as they are looking out for themselves and never the victims. |

| as crap as it is they tend to lose £500 as soon as you drive it off the forecourt which is so crap i have had my car for 3 years paid £5k for it got it valued no damage done to it at all yet they offered me are you ready £600 |

| omg suzie thats shocking i dont think you have to accept the 1st offer jen, for now iv told them i dont want to accept it until im sure. its just awful i just want my car back not all the messing about of having to find a new one x |

| yes jen, although i have got it today but with my foot still being bad i probs wont be using it much anyway
babymilly, um yes i think so, i wasnt sure at first as i didnt want people thinking i was making up my injuries for the compo.but a few of you have put my mind at ease not to feel guilty for it...so what the hell yes i think i will x |
